Amal Qutub

I am deeply committed to supporting caregivers, parents, and families on their journey toward stronger connections and enhanced attachment. My practice is rooted in the belief that nurturing family relationships are fundamental to emotional well-being. Through individual and group therapy sessions, I provide a compassionate space for individuals to explore challenges, develop healthier communication skills, and foster nurturing bonds. Whether you are a caregiver seeking support, a parent aiming to deepen your relationship with your children, or a family looking to resolve conflicts and grow together, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way. My passion lies in bridging the often-missing gap in child psychotherapy by empowering parents and caregivers. I am licensed with both the Ontario College of Social Workers and the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. Currently, I am undergoing training in an Islamic studies program and can integrate faith-based psychotherapy support upon request.

Important to Note: At Muslim Women’s Wellness, we take a comprehensive approach when working with youth and children. This means including parents and caregivers in sessions as needed. Our experience has taught us that lasting, positive change is most effective when we engage with the entire family system, rather than treating family members in isolation. We recognize that family dynamics can have a profound impact on the wellbeing of each person. Therefore, we focus on working with the family as a whole to address and manage any unhealthy dynamics and promote the wellbeing of the individual.
