Shamoona Awan
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I am passionate about supporting women who are navigating workplace challenges, burnout, and perfectionism. Having spent years working in the corporate sector myself, I deeply understand the pressures, expectations, and emotional toll that many women carry in professional spaces. This lived experience shapes my approach and helps me meet clients with both empathy and practical insight.
In addition to this work, I support parents of children with Autism and other developmental concerns. I know how overwhelming it can feel to advocate for your child while trying to care for yourself, and my goal is to help parents feel more informed, grounded, and supported on that journey.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that every woman deserves a space where she feels heard, validated, and empowered to create meaningful change. I’m honoured to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and gentle encouragement as you navigate whatever season you’re in.
I have an Integrative and Eclectic Approach – Main Orientation of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Therapy Approach, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). For client interested in bringing their Muslim Faith into session, I am trained in Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy.
