What is Affordable Therapy?

At Muslim Women’s Wellness, our approach is rooted in khidma (service). We recognize that the cost of therapy can be a significant barrier for many individuals when beginning their healing journey. One way we work to reduce this barrier is by offering affordable, reduced-cost therapy through our intern therapists. Working with an intern allows clients to access quality care at a lower cost, while also supporting the professional growth and clinical development of emerging therapists.

What are the Qualifications of Interns?

Our interns are currently completing Master’s-level degrees in therapy-related fields, including counselling psychology and social work. All intern therapists are closely supervised by our Senior Psychotherapy Team.
